How do I get a quote?
Use the Get a Quote form on this site, email contact@maythorngroup.co.uk, or call us on 07346 811949. Tell us about your space — size, how often, what needs doing — and we'll come back within 2 working hours during business hours.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in East London and currently cover the wider London area. If you're outside London and interested in a contract, get in touch — we'll be honest about whether we can deliver to standard at that distance.
Are your cleaners DBS-checked?
Yes. All cleaners we send to a site are DBS-checked before they attend. For sites where additional clearance is required — healthcare, education, regulated environments — we agree the right level of check with you before the contract starts.
Do you bring your own materials and equipment?
Yes. For hourly and one-off jobs, we bring everything needed: vacuum, mop, cloths and products. For ongoing commercial contracts, materials and equipment can be included in our package or supplied by you, depending on what works best for your site.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Tell us within 24 hours and we'll return to put it right at no extra cost. We'd rather hear about a problem and fix it than leave a customer unhappy.
How does pricing work?
Domestic cleaning is priced by the hour or by the job — guide rates are on our Services page. Commercial contracts are bespoke and depend on site size, frequency, access hours and any specialist requirements. Our rates start from London Living Wage upwards — we never undercut by underpaying staff.
Will I get the same cleaner every visit?
Wherever possible, yes. Continuity matters — your cleaner gets to know your space, your preferences and how you work. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we'll arrange cover and let you know in advance.
Do I need to be home or on-site for the clean?
No. We work either with you on-site or with a key, fob or access-code arrangement. Whatever the set-up, we follow a written access protocol and only the assigned cleaner has access on cleaning day.
Can you work out of hours?
Yes. Commercial cleaning often runs early morning, evening or overnight to avoid disrupting your team — we'll work to whatever schedule suits your site. Weekend and bank holiday cover is available where needed.
How do I pay?
We invoice after each clean for one-off jobs, or monthly in arrears for ongoing contracts. Payment is by bank transfer. We don't take card payments at this stage.
