About Maythorn
Maythorn Group Ltd is a London-based cleaning company built on years of hands-on operational experience.
We were founded by Mahedi Fahim, a cleaning supervisor who has spent years running daily operations at a Canary Wharf college — managing teams, dealing with real client expectations and learning what actually matters in institutional, commercial and residential cleaning.
Maythorn exists because the cleaning industry too often gets it wrong. Staff are underpaid and undervalued. Clients are passed off to call centres. Standards drift the moment a contract is signed. We're built around a simple commitment: pay people properly, hold ourselves accountable, and deliver consistent work — every site, every visit.

Built by someone who's run cleaning operations on the ground, not from a corporate office. We know what "clean" looks like in a busy college, a private clinic and a Canary Wharf office at 6am.

No call centres, no layered hierarchies. The person who quotes your contract is the person running it — and the person you call when something needs attention.

Cleaning is real work, done by real people. We pay London Living Wage, we treat our team with respect, and we believe how you treat your staff shows in how they treat your space.

We're growing carefully. Better one steady contract running properly than five contracts running poorly. Local roots, regional ambition, no shortcuts.
From the founder
Mahedi Fahim founded Maythorn after years on the front line of commercial cleaning — most recently as a supervisor at a Canary Wharf college. He's also a Law student at ARU London.
Maythorn was built around what he saw work, and what he saw fail, on the ground. Clean spaces aren't built by accident. They're built by teams who are properly trained, properly paid and properly led — and by leadership that stays close to the work.
